Music gives students a practical way to connect listening, reading, pattern recognition, memory, expression, and disciplined practice. Piano and vocal study also give students a long-term skill they can perform, share, and enjoy. Lessons are adjusted to the student’s pace without losing the structure and accountability that help progress become consistent.

Piano
Weekly foundational instruction
Thirty-minute weekly lessons focused on technique, reading, rhythm, theory, expression, and performance. Herriman-area appointments are offered Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4–6 p.m., subject to availability.
Vocal
Healthy technique and complete musicianship
Weekly instruction in singing fundamentals, pitch, breath, tone, diction, notation, theory, interpretation, performance, and introductory composition. Scheduling is offered Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4–6 p.m., subject to availability.
Choir and ensemble
A shared music-learning experience
Friday small-group options meet at 10 a.m. for homeschool students and 2 p.m. for students seeking an after-school choir experience. Placement depends on enrollment and availability.
Online
Instruction beyond the Herriman area
Online piano and vocal lessons are private only. Students may choose live instruction, recorded instruction and feedback, or a combination of both for $45 per weekly lesson. A four-month private package is $720.

Questions from homeschool families.
Does my student need prior music experience?+
No. Beginners are welcome. The first conversation helps identify readiness, interests, goals, and an appropriate starting point.
Are lessons private or group-based?+
Encore offers private, small-group, and ensemble paths for in-person students. All live, recorded, and combined online piano or vocal instruction is private.
Can students outside Herriman participate?+
Yes. Out-of-area students can use private live online instruction, recorded lessons and feedback, or a combination of both. Online piano and vocal lessons are $45 weekly. Choir and ensemble activities require attendance at the scheduled group time unless the studio arranges otherwise.
How is Utah Fits All tuition paid?+
Utah Fits All packages are offered through the scholarship marketplace and paid upfront for a four-month enrollment period. Complete the Marketplace purchase first, then use the Utah Fits All option on the lesson calendar to request a weekly time. Do not pay through Stripe. The time is held temporarily and becomes confirmed only after the studio verifies the Marketplace purchase.
What happens if a lesson is missed?+
Contact the studio at least 24 hours before the lesson. Makeup lessons are allowed when space is available, but they are not guaranteed. Emergencies are considered individually. See the Studio Policies page for full terms.
Are books and materials included?+
Required materials depend on the student and course of study. The studio will explain what is needed before purchase. Borrowed studio materials must be returned as described in the Studio Policies.
